Changing a Depreciation Amount in a Specific Period
To change the depreciation amount for a specific period, follow the instructions below.
NOTE: It is not recommended that you change the depreciation amount for a period.
From the fixed asset listing, choose an asset that you want to change a depreciation amount for. Open the asset by clicking on the asset number.
Click the Edit button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Hover over the depreciation amount (dollar value) in the period you want to change it, as shown below. NOTE: You can only change the depreciation amount for a period that has not already been posted.
4. You can now enter the new amount of depreciation for the period selected.
