Use the steps below to reverse a bulk depreciation posting. The AssetEdge support team does not recommend you reverse entire monthly posts, but rather that you go down to the incorrect asset records and reverse the depreciation there, on the asset level.
From the fixed assets overview menu, go into Post Depreciation. This will bring up a list of all your bulk depreciation posts.
Click into the post that you wish to reverse.
Click the Reverse button in the upper right corner of the screen.
Give the reversal a date. NOTE: If any asset in the bulk post is in a different currency than the entity's base currency, you'll want the reversal to occur on the same day as the original post to make sure that there is no exchange rate gain/loss.
