To partially dispose of an asset, follow one of the above asset disposal methods outlined previously (by sale or by other method) except that in step 4, enter the percentage of the asset you want to dispose of. For example, if you decided to sell half the square footage in your manufacturing plant, you would need to dispose of 50% of the building in a Sale via AR Invoice.
